The new trailer for Pokémon Sword and Shield shows off new rivals, new Pokémon forms, and most importantly, a new Pokémon named Morpeko.

Morpeko seems to be the cute rodent Pokémon of the Galar region, akin to Pachirisu, Dedenne, Plusle, and Minun. It’s a cute little hamster with round pink cheeks, but one thing makes it different from the other rodents: It gets hangry.

When Morpeko is in “full belly mode,” it’s yellow, brown, and black, but when it turns into “hangry mode,” it has a black, purple, and red color-scheme. This is due to its ability, Hunger Switch, which turns its signature move, Aura Wheel, from electric-type to dark-type.

According to Morpeko’s page on the Sword and Shield website, it’s “always hungry, no matter how much it eats” and “when experiencing prolonged hunger, the balance of hormones within Morpeko’s body changes.” Morpeko will also carry berry seeds around with it, just in case it feels peckish.

Pokémon Sword and Shield will be released for Nintendo Switch on Nov. 15.
