Well Youth Kenny Vaccaro Jersey , not exactly the same position... LaFleur held the same title in LA, but he wasn’t calling the shots. It was ultimately head coach Sean McVay’s offense that LaFleur was helping to run.LaFleur has never called plays in a regular season NFL game. He was the playcaller at Ashland University in 2007, but that was over a decade ago. However, Sean McVay gave LaFleur the exciting opportunity to call plays during certain moments of the 2017 preseason. LaFleur called the entirety of the Rams’ August 19th matchup with the Oakland Raiders, as well as the second half of the final preseason game against the Green Bay Packers. So, taken with a few extra helpings of salt, let’s see if we can learn anything about Matt LaFleur from looking at these games, broken down drive-by-drive.August 19: Los Angeles Rams at Oakland RaidersDrive 1: 8 plays, 85 yards, TD in 4:46The Rams got off to a hot start. With a good mix of zone handoffs and easy-access passes for Jared Goff, the Rams moved down the field efficiently. The offense capped off the drive with a beautiful play-action play that resulted in Goff finding a wide open Cooper Kupp in the end zone. Jared Goff finds a wide open Cooper Kupp for Matt LaFleur’s first called touchdown (NFL Gamepass).Drive 2: 3 plays, 7 yards, Punt in 2:13The Rams’ second drive didn’t go quite as well as the first. Really the drive was derailed by Khalil Mack’s sack on 2nd-and-5, a somewhat-famous play in which the Rams attempted to block Mack with a pair of rookie tight ends. Goff dumped the ball off to Todd Gurley on 3rd-and-15, who came up three yards short of the first down.Drive 3: 8 plays, 41 yards, Touchdown in 3:25The Rams’ third drive was another success. Using a heavy dose of shotgun passes, the Rams quickly marched to the two-yard line before Gurley punched through into the end zone.Drive 4: 15 plays, 58 yards http://www.titansauthorizedshops.com/authentic-dennis-kelly-jersey , Field Goal in 8:57On the Rams’ fourth drive, they held the ball for nearly two-thirds of the second quarter. Mixing shotgun passes with runs from under center, the Rams slowly plodded down the field. LaFleur repeated a similar type of play that had worked on the first drive. It was blown up for no gain on this attempt. The Rams tried a similar play earlier where they brought Robert Woods back across after faking a handoff to the opposite side. The play to Woods worked great; this time, however, the Raiders saw it coming (NFL Gamepass). The drive came to a halt at the Oakland 17-yard line after backup running back Malcolm Brown was taken down for a loss of three, followed by Jared Goff stepping out of bounds for one yard after being pursued towards the sideline, and finally a screen to Cooper Kupp for 3 yards on 3rd-and-12.Drive 5: 6 plays, 13 yards, Punt in 2:50The Rams actual fifth drive was a one-play hand-off before halftime, so we’ll skip that one and move on to the first drive of the second half, with LaFleur calling plays for backups.Sean Mannion picked up one first down with a quick-out throw for 5 yards, but the drive stalled after back-to-back incomplete passes on 2nd and 3rd down.Drive 6: 4 plays, 22 yards, Punt in 2:57The next drive opened with a nicely designed underneath dump-off to the H-back that went for a 13-yard gain. The Rams had to punt after failing to convert a 3rd-and-1 run.Drive 7: 5 plays, 16 yards, Punt in 3:47This drive got off to a pretty good start with a couple of handoffs picking up a first down. Then a ten-yard holding penalty set the offense behind the chains, and they weren’t able to make up the lost yards.Drive 8: 3 plays, 1 yard, Punt in 1:11It’s really hard to judge play-calling this deep into a meaningless preseason game. With backups Jayon Brown Jersey , lack of game-planning, and a general commitment to withholding the “good stuff,” it’s hard to isolate Matt LaFleur’s abilities as a playcaller and fairly evaluate him.Drive 9: 13 plays, 80 yards, Touchdown in 5:19But that being said... the Rams took over possession trailing 21-17 with 6:30 to play, and they marched down the field, chewed up nearly the entire game clock, and scored the go-ahead touchdown to win the game. The possession mixed a handful of hand-offs in with a mostly quick passing attack to get down the field. The Rams only had to convert one third-down on a 13-play drive, which is quite impressive. However, that doesn’t include the one 4th-down they converted on a pretty nice route combination. On fourth down, the Rams run a double-in concept with the slot receiver clearing out with a 7 route. The “other” Michael Thomas makes the catch for the conversion. The go-ahead touchdown came on a 20-yard deep fade against single coverage on the next play. The Rams’ final possession was a one-play kneel-down.August 31: Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay PackersSean McVay called plays for the Rams in the first half of this game, and then turned the reigns over to LaFleur for the second half. The Packers received the second-half kickoff and proceeded to mount a nearly 12-minute drive, meaning the Rams didn’t gain possession until 3:42 remaining in the 3rd quarter.Drive 1: 3 Plays, 4 Yards, Punt in 1:44Our good pal Dan Orlovsky quarterbacked the Rams’ offense in this meaningless preseason contest. He opened things up with a short completion, but couldn’t connect with his target down the left sideline on 3rd-and-6 two plays later. The Rams punted.Drive 2: 9 Plays, 64 Yards, Touchdown in 5:39LaFleur’s second drive as a playcaller didn’t begin until the 4th quarter, with 12:23 to go in the game. A pair of inside handoffs moved the ball into Packers’ territory. A couple short-outs and another hand-off put the Rams at 1st-and-10 inside the 35-yard line. The drive was full of inside zone hand-offs Authentic Josh Kline Jersey , but sprinkled in were quick-drop pass plays from under center, similarly aligned to the plays that became inside zones. Not much play-action, mostly just alternating between inside zone and quick drop pass, usually to a speed-out in the flat. The defense’s inability to recognize pass or run from the formation led to the touchdown at the end of the drive. The Rams ran many plays in a row out of a similar formation and kept the defense off guard, leading to this touchdown. No one follows Johnny Mundt, a backup tight end trying to make the Rams roster, as he motions across the formation, expecting him to be a lead blocker for a run play. But he leaks out and Orlovsky finds him with space to run in for the touchdown.Drive 3: 4 Plays, 19 Yards, Punt in 1:00Orlovsky hit his running back out of the backfield for 12 yards on first down, but then the drive stalled after an incomplete attempt on 3rd and short. The final drive of the game consisted of two clock-killing handoffs. Analyzing the DataEven though it’s preseason, and all the caveats I described above (about backups getting significant playing time, about the full offense possibly not yet being installed, about teams not gameplanning for their opponents, and about teams trying not to give away all their secret plans) are in play, I still think it’s worthwhile (or at least interesting) to break down LaFleur’s playcalling tendencies.Matt LaFleur Playcalling DataDistribution# of SnapsPercent of PlaysAverage Yards per PlayTotal Yards GainedDistribution# of SnapsPercent of PlaysAverage Yards per PlayTotal Yards GainedThe distribution of the second half Green Bay game was fairly even, with 9 passes to 10 runs (two of those coming with little to no time remaining). The Oakland results, however, were pretty heavily weighted towards the passing game. There were two plays called as passes that ended up not counting in the pass attempts Youth Logan Ryan Jersey , the Khalil Mack sack mentioned above and the play Jared Goff was forced to step out of bounds for a one yard gain. I included those as part of the pass count in the table above. What To ExpectSo based on all this information, what can we expect to see from LaFleur’s Titans on Sunday?Well, without getting into too many specifics, I expect to see a fairly balanced distribution between run and pass. A good dose of play-action and easy-access throws are likely, especially if Luke Falk gets heavy playing time. They’ll probably want to make life easy on the rookie by giving him plenty of defined reads, easy dump-offs and screens, and plenty of misdirection and play action to open up passing lanes.Mostly, the playcalls will be pretty simple in general. They want to see if the fringe roster guys are executing plays with proper technique when the live action begins. Are the wide receivers hitting their depths? Are the linemen staying low in their stance? Are the running backs reading the zone blocks in front of them?So while this data may give us a hint or two of what to expect from LaFleur, the truth is we won’t really know anything until we see this new offense in action. The good news is kickoff is (finally) right around the corner.Locked on Titans: Reflecting on DeMarco Murray, Defensive positional battles It’s just about that time. The Titans and the rest of the NFL will open training camp next week, officially getting the 2018 season rolling. With camp looming, we’re taking a look at some potential positional battles on the Titans’ roster. Last week it was the offense, now we’re taking a look at the defensive side of the ball. There isn’t too much intrigue about who is going to start on Dean Pees’ defense, but there are a couple of interesting spots on the roster that will be shaped during camp. Do the Titans have enough on the defensive line? That’s one spot where the team could stand to add one more depth piece. Who is going to emerge from the crowd at safety? Where will rookie Dane Cruikshank play? Can Kevin Dodd show us anything? Is Aaron Wallace ready to claim a spot? We’ll dive into all of this, plus reflect a little on the retirement of DeMarco Murray. NFL Picks Against the Spread 2018: Week 2 Games Before the second Sunday of the 2018 NFL regular season kicks off Youth Corey Clement Jersey , let’s have some fun by taking a look at the spreads for today’s games. (Click here for NFL Week 2 picks without regard to the spread.) You can find all of today’s NFL betting lines and more via SB Nation. My season record so far is 6-9-1. Let’s get to the picks.NFL Week 2 GamesHouston Texans (-2.5) at Tennessee Titans: Deshaun Watson didn’t look so great in Week 1. But even if he doesn’t play well again, I still think the Texans will beat the Titans. Marcus Mariota is dealing with a pinched nerve and apparently we could see more Blaine Gabbert this week. That’s good news for Houston. PICK: Texans -2.5Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers (PICK): Given the uncertainty surrounding Aaron Rodgers’ status, this game is off the board entirely in some places. Other outlets have it as a pick ‘em. I don’t love betting against Rodgers but I just don’t know where he’s at health wise right now. And it’s not like he’s going to have the adrenaline going for him taht he had during last week’s comeback. I’ll just go with Minnesota, who looked good in Week 1. PICK: Vikings Cleveland Browns at New Orleans Saints (-9.5): Sean Payton and the Saints have to be pretty pissed about last week’s loss to the Bucs. There’s no way this team is losing two straight home games, especially with one being to the Browns. It’s just a matter if New Orleans will cover. Given that their offense scored 40 points last week, I feel good about their chances. PICK: Saints -9.5Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons (-6): My initial reaction here is to go with the Falcons. It’s tough to feel as great about them, though, given their injury situation. Deion Jones and Keanu Neal have been placed on injured reserve. Devonta Freeman is hurt and won’t play. Matt Ryan looked washed in Week 1. But the problem with taking the Panthers is they’re dealing with some injuries too; starting right tackle Daryl Williams and veteran tight end Greg Olsen are out. This is tough. I think the Falcons win but I’ll say it’s close and the Panthers cover. PICK: Panthers +6Indianapolis Colts at Washington Redskins (-6): This seems like an easy one to me. Washington has more talent than the Colts do. I don’t think the Indy defense will be able to stop Washington. PICK: Washington -6Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Bucs’ offense are bound to come back to Earth after going absolutely bonkers against New Orleans last week. The Eagles’ defense, thanks to their ability to generate pressure, will prove tougher than the Saints’ unit. On the other side of the ball, reigning Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles is poised to bounce back against a Tampa secondary that’ll be without both of their starting cornerbacks. Eagles win this one by at least four points, if not many more. PICK: Eagles -3.5Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers (-5): It might seem like a no-brainer to take the Chiefs after the Steelers failed to beat the Browns last week. Be cautious with that because Pittsburgh will play better at home. Just look at Ben Roethlisberger’s career home/road splits (shout out to good friend James Seltzer). With that said Cheap Dallas Goedert Jersey , how can you not roll with Pat Mahomes here? His connection with Tyreek Hill is lethal. Andy Reid is a pretty good coach, too. KC will at least make this one close. PICK: Chiefs +5Miami Dolphins at New York Jets (-3): Sam Darnold is the truth and the New York Football Giants are a bunch of dopes for taking a running back over him at No. 2. The Jets will be able to handle the Dolphins at home. PICK: Jets -3Los Angeles Chargers (-7.5) at Buffalo Bills: The Chargers aren’t bad. As a rookie in his first NFL start, Josh Allen might very well be. PICK: Chargers -7.5Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers (-6): Amazingly, the Lions managed to look like a team that’s already quit in Week 1. I’m not about to bet on Matt Patricia here. Especially with Detroit playing on a short week. On the flip side, I’m not all in on the Niners. Jimmy Garoppolo looked very mortal last week. But San Fran was also in a tough spot on the road against the Vikings. I think they’ll bounce back at home. PICK: 49ers -6Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams (-13): Sam Bradford is going to post some nice garbage time stats after the Rams drop a 40-burger on the Cards. Shout out to Marshall Faulk. PICK: Rams -13Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos (-6.5): The Raiders had some success while they were running their scripted plays early in the game last week. Then Jon Gruden looked totally outmatched the rest of the way. I just have no faith in Gruden in today’s NFL climate. The Broncos still figure to be solid, especially at home. PICK: Broncos -6.5New England Patriots (-1) at Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jags figure to be without Leonard Fournette against New England. No Fournette means Blake Bortles has to throw the ball more. Bortles throwing the ball more is bad for the Jags’ chances of winning. I don’t think Jacksonville is going to get their revenge for the AFC Championship Game. Just can’t take Bortles over Tom Brady, especially if it’s basically just a pick ‘em. PICK: Patriots -1New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys (-3): This is a tough one because I think both of these teams are bad. Dak Prescott is getting exposed for the unimpressive player he truly is. The Giants, meanwhile, looked about as expected in Week 1 as their offensive line struggled to protect a washed Eli Manning. I don’t have a great feel either way, but something is making me lean towards the upset. PICK: Giants +3Seattle Seahawks at Chicago Bears (-3): I still need to see more from Mitchell Trubisky before I’m all in on the Bears. But I certainly do like Chicago’s defense. Khalil Mack is going to be a huge problem for a Seattle offensive line that fails to adequately protect Russell Wilson. PICK: Bears -3Buccaneers could be missing some key starters against the Eagles The Tampa Bay Buccaneers very well might be missing some key starters in their lineup when they play the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday. Bucs report Greg Auman says both wide receiver DeSean Jackson and cornerback Vernon Hargreaves are “major question marks” heading into Week 2.In addition to injuring his shoulder in Week 1, Jackson also suffered a concussion. He’s in the league’s mandatory concussion protocol and won’t be cleared to play until he passes through. Even if he does pass, his shoulder could still be an issue. For what it’s worth Cheap Alshon Jeffery Jersey , NFL insider Adam Schefter said he’d “be surprised if [Jackson] plays this week” during a Wednesday morning interview with 97.5 The Fanatic. We all know that Jackson loves to play against his former team, so I wouldn’t officially count him out just yet. His status will be worth monitoring through this week’s injury reports. As for Hargreaves, Schefter is reporting the 2016 first-round pick “suffered a potentially season-ending shoulder injury” in Week 1. Hargreaves is set to get a second opinion today but it sounds like he’ll be out for this week. Hargreaves might not be the only Bucs starting cornerback who won’t play on Sunday. Veteran defensive back Brent Grimes missed this past week’s game with a groin injury. If both Grimes and Hargreaves can’t play, the Bucs could be starting rookie second-round pick Carlton Davis and third-year player Ryan Smith at corner. The Buccaneers caught everyone’s attention by managing to score 48 points in Week 1. That was impressive, yes, but Tampa Bay’s defense also allowed 40. They could be vulnerable once again with the injuries to their corners. The Bucs’ misfortune comes at a convenient time for the Eagles considering Philadelphia’s wide receivers only managed to combine for 43 yards on nine receptions against the Falcons. Perhaps Nick Foles, who also struggled against Atlanta, and the Eagles’ receivers will be able to get going this week. FIRST UPDATE: Hargreaves is reportedly being placed on IR.SECOND UPDATE: Now it sounds like Bucs starting defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul’s status might be in doubt. ...In other NFC South injury news, the Falcons just placed Deion Jones on the injured reserve list. It sounds like he’ll return later this season but he’ll have to sit out the next eight weeks. The Eagles already beat Atlanta but this injury is still worth noting since the Falcons could be very competitive in the NFC.The Carolina Panthers are also dealing with some key injuries. Starting right tackle Daryl Williams will have surgery. It seems like he won’t be able to play against the Eagles in Week 7. Tight end Greg Olsen could also be out as he recovers from re-injuring his foot.

For a team that has only lost twice to the Cincinnati Bengals in Paul Brown Stadium since 2001 Vince Williams Jersey , it is perhaps something of a surprise to note the Pittsburgh Steelers are underdogs in Week 6. The last time the Black and Gold lost a game in Cincinnati was 2012 and the Steelers have won their last six in a row against the Bengals regardless of venue. An opening line of 3-points has been slowly falling throughout the week and while 2-points is the consensus spread at the time of writing, a growing number of sportsbooks have shifted the line to 1.5-points in the last 24 hours or so and it would not be a surprise if the final spread ended up closer to a point come kick off. The early totals position of 54.5-points has been on the decline over the last few days as well, with 52.5-points now the standard offering with most providers. Depending on your bookmaker, there are a number of prices available for those looking to back either team straight up without the spread. From an initial price of +106 to -125, Pittsburgh can currently be backed at a range of prices from as low as +100 to as high as +115.According to Oddsshark.com, Pittsburgh is 3-9 against the spread in their last 12 games and 2-3 on the season. The total has gone over in six of the Steelers last seven games and the under is 1-4 on the year so far. Pittsburgh is 11-3-1 ATS in its last 15 games in Cincinnati. After successfully highlighting James Conner as our pick for first touchdown scorer in Week 5, we will be sticking with the young running back once again to open the scoring against the Bengals and he should be available at a price of around 6/1 for first game touchdown and around 7/2 for first team touchdown once again this Sunday.Steelers Film Room: James Conner proves he was never the problem James Conner didn't do much on the ground in Weeks 2 through 4, and he was being blamed for the majority of it. Really? People thought Conner was the issue? He wasn't the issue -- one of the issues was play-calling. The Steelers ran far too many plays to the inside which didn't always suit Conner’s strengths, and now that they're getting him outside in space, he can use his balance and burst to do much more than just running between the tackles every play. The other issue was simply offensive-line play. Marcus Gilbert and David DeCastro each missing games was no help to Conner at all. The Steelers overall have been among the league’s lower half of run-blocking teams according to PFF, and it's clear to see. Conner was hit behind the line too many times over the past three weeks. Finally, with a fully healthy line for the first time since Week 1, James Conner found more success than he has at anytime this season Ramon Foster Jersey , and you can tell he's a starting-caliber running back. This guy is 100% a starter. He has all the aspects you want in a RB. First, vision and burst, Exhibit A:Beautiful tuck inside by Conner on this play as he reads that hole opening up at the last second. If he doesn’t read that, it's a decent gain but nowhere near the run he gets. I love how once he gets to the second level you see that next-level burst from him. He absolutely can be a big- play threat, and that shows differentiation from Le’Veon Bell as a whole. Not everyone is born with vision, but Conner has it and it's only improved as the season has gone on. But where Conner has really improved is in the receiving game. He has 22 catches for 239 yards receiving. Compare that to last year when he could barely catch, but now he's motioning out wide and catching passes for first downs. His evolution from just a pure runner to a lean, receiving back has been a fun transition to watch as this season has progressed. The Steelers love to run plays like this with Le’Veon Bell out of the slot. It's a simple bunch-set with an inside trailing route as the two receivers on the right side are “screening” for Conner to take this quick catch and get the first down. The best part, aside from the easy catch Conner makes away from his body, is the extra yards he fights for at the end of the play. A high level of effort plus a high level of talent will get you places. But that's not even the best part of Conner’s game. By far, it's his balance through contact. The balance he shows is at an elite level, no matter how you slice it. He has some incredible strength and power to go with that strong center of gravity. It's not always easy to find players with balance like this. They ran this pitch-play with much success on Sunday. I don't necessarily like the play, but it gets Conner in space and allows him to take advantage of his incredible balance and burst. You can see it all on display on this particular play Cheap Cameron Heyward Jersey , and he just keeps powering through. Conner was truly impressive vs. the Falcons in Week 5. But there was a play combining all of his talents into one, and it was an absolute beauty to watch. This one might make top-5 RB plays of the year folks.Hello James Conner. He runs straight over people, cuts it up to get the best lane to the first down and then powers through others to get even more yardage. Backup RBs simply don't do things like this. I'm not saying James Conner will be a star, but he's absolutely a starting RB, and certainly isn't the problem with the Steelers’ running game.Part of it was how the Steelers fell down early in most of the games when Conner was ineffective but, in reality, Conner always grinded out as many yards as he could. He's never been, and never will be, the problem. This guy is not only a great story, but a great football player too.

From Calais Campbell to Jalen Ramsey Youth Dennis Kelly Jersey , Malik Jackson, AJ Bouye, Telvin Smith, Myles Jack, Yannick Ngakoue, Tashaun Gipson, Barry Church, and Marcell Dareus, the team is loaded with defensive talent in the front seven and in the secondary. Of those players, Campbell, Jackson, Bouye, Gipson, Church and Dareus were all free agent/mid season acquisitions. One of the team’s homegrown talents experienced a breakout year in 2017. That talent is defensive end Yannick Ngakoue. In his sophomore season, Ngakoue created 12 sacks while leading the league in forced fumbles with six (excluding the forced fumble he had on Ben Roethlisberger in the postseason). Ngakoue cemented himself as one of the Jaguars’ best pass rushers http://www.authenticstennesseetitans.com/cheap-brett-kern-jersey , forming a deadly combo with fellow defensive end (and defensive tackle) Calais Campbell; The two combined for 26.5 sacks in 2017.In his first two seasons, Ngakoue already has 20 career sacks, an impressive feat for a third-round pick. Last season, he wasted no time in making an impact, sacking the QB twice in week 1 at Houston while also forcing two fumbles. He would go on to have three more games where he posted at least two sacks.Ngakoue did not post a single sack against the Titans in the two matchups last season, but don’t let that fool you. The Titans still need to keep an eye on Ngakoue as he is becoming a force at the defensive end position. The new Karate Kid movie looks sick.gamepass.nfl.comThe Jaguars’ front seven, needless to say, is stacked, allowing Ngakoue to show off his skill set with relative ease. Ngakoue’s signature move as a pass rusher is his cross chop, where he puts his hand up and swipes away the lineman’s hands to create leverage, then chops him to leave the lineman in the dust.Yannick Ngakoue has a very specific set of skills.gamepass.nfl.comNgakoue’s first four sacks on the year came from this chop move. It’s important to note that on both of the plays above, Ngakoue’s footwork advances him outside of the left tackle, allowing him to set up the cross chop perfectly. Good God that hop....gamepass.nfl.comNgakoue doesn’t just need to rely on the chop to create pressure, though, as shown up here. He uses slower Jonnu Smith Jersey , more hesitant footwork on this play, hopping around the left tackle and getting easy access to the quarterback. He chops the ball out of Deshone Kizer’s hands, and though it’s recovered by the Browns, Ngakoue’s impact on the play was there. The Browns game was one of two games (week 1 at Houston) where Ngakoue forced two fumbles. It was also one of two games (Week 7 at Indianapolis) where he put up 2.5 sacks. Ngakoue’s techniques and pure athleticism are both matched by his consistency to put up dangerous numbers.Like Campbell, Ngakoue is also a dangerous pass rusher even when he’s moved around the front.Excellent sack on the greatest quarterback of our generation.gamepass.nfl.comOn this stunt, Ngakoue is lined up at defensive tackle in the A-gap between the left guard and center. Instead of rushing there, Ngakoue uses the twist to go up the B-gap between the right guard and right tackle. He jump cuts the guard and swims by him, using his speed to chase down Jimmy Garoppolo for the sack. This is easily one of the best plays of Ngakoue’s career, and is a perfect showcasing of his quickness and power. Finally, we must end Ngakoue’s highlight reel on this play against the Bengals. How he’s able to knock down the running back after losing his balance I have no idea, but this is spectacular either way.He got.....JACKED UP! gamepass.nfl.comYannick Ngakoue is on his way to becoming a premiere pass rusher. His hands, footwork, power, and technique to get past the offensive line give the Jaguars a dominant young defensive end with the ability to consistently win outside leverage on a front that already causes enough problems on its own. He may not be the Jaguars’ most valuable defender (yet), but he doesn’t need to be considering how stacked that roster is.A force Jacksonville can rely on to cause sacks and pop the ball out of the quarterback’s hands Authentic Will Compton Jersey , Ngakoue is a problem the Titans must look to eliminate whenever they face off against the Jaguars in 2018.Fantasy football rankings 2018: Titans come in 23rd in Yahoo team rankings It is going to be an interesting year when it comes to Titans’ players and fantasy football. I think they are being underrated on the national scene currently with the exception of Derrick Henry. If anything, Henry is probably being drafted as running back 18 according to Fantasy Pros. Meanwhile, Dion Lewis is being drafted as running back 27. Assuming both stay healthy for the entire year, the touch distribution will probably be pretty close to 50/50. So you are getting a much better value, especially in a PPR league, with Lewis.Yahoo! does a Juggernaut Index on teams each year in the preseason. The Titans came in at #23. I get that, but I bet they end up a lot higher than that. My prediction is that Marcus Mariota is a top 10 quarterback, Corey Davis is a top 20 wide receiver, Delanie Walker is a top 5 tight end and Henry and Lewis are both top 20 running backs. Bold? Absolutely, but the talent level is there with this group. So you can probably steal the Titans in drafts where you aren’t with a bunch of Titans’ fans. Guys like Mariota, Lewis, and Davis are all being WAAAY undervalued right now. Take advantage of that while you can!

The Philadelphia Eagles will be adding free agent wide receiver Braxton Miller to their practice squad http://www.philadelphiaeaglesteamonlines.com/sidney-jones-jersey , according to Alex Gleitman of 247Sports. As far as practice squad signings go, this is an intriguing one. Miller was selected by the Houston Texans with the No. 85 overall pick (third round) in the 2016 NFL Draft after playing four seasons at Ohio State. Miller spent his first three seasons at quarterback for the Buckeyes. He finished fifth in the 2012 Heisman Trophy voting and ninth in 2013. Miller suffered a shoulder injury that caused him to be a medical redshirt in 2014 before he ultimately changed positions to wide receiver in 2015. In two seasons with the Texans, Miller appeared in 21 games (nine starts). He logged 34 receptions for 261 receiving yards (7.7 average), and two touchdowns. He also had four rushing attempts for one yard. Miller returned four punts for a total of 13 yards and three kickoffs for a total of 41 yards. All of this is to say that Miller, who turns 26 years old in November Womens Jason Kelce Jersey , has struggled to produce at the NFL level. The Texans decided he wasn’t worth keeping around anymore so they waived him during final cuts last weekend. So why are the Eagles taking a chance on him? Well, Miller is pretty athletic. And the Eagles are pretty thin at wide receiver with both Alshon Jeffery and Mack Hollins missing time. Philadelphia currently has only five healthy receivers on the 53-man roster: Nelson Agholor, Mike Wallace, DeAndre Carter, Shelton Gibson Womens Carson Wentz Jersey , and Markus Wheaton.Another reason why this report makes sense is that the Eagles waived the two receivers they were storing on their practice squad — Rashard Davis and Greg Ward Jr. — on Friday afternoon. They have two vacant spots on the scout team and it looks like Miller will be filling one.Improbable throw by Carson Wentz grabs national attention It only took six plays for the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles to take a lead they would never give up against the New York Giants. More impressive was the throw that Carson Wentz made to put those points on the board.NFL Next Gen Stats tracks all types of interesting stats and have created fascinating new metrics; one of which is “Completion Probability” and it’s companion “Improbable Completions”.This play highlights the double edge sword we’re living with at quarterback. There are times where Wentz going to hold onto the ball longer than your average bear, but the highlight reel plays that come with that make it all worth it.Wentz talked with the NFL Network crew about the throw after the game.“They dropped into Tampa 2, they had a good coverage on and down there we always talk about that’s when sometimes you just gotta improvise... They locked up the coverage and I know coach a lot of the time says to not throw across your body in the red zone but sometimes, especially when you got a guy like [Alshon Jeffery] that you can really trust back there, you can kinda take those chances sometimes.”The key word there is trust. Wentz trusts Jeffery to make a play which frees him up to make a typically ill-advised across his body throw in a key area of the field. With a few obvious exceptions Womens Darren Sproles Jersey , those tight window throws were something largely lacking from Wentz’s game this season. That was not the case on a special throw that got everybody buzzing.

Saturday Night’s Alright For Commenting: August 11th http://www.houstontexansteamonline.com/benardrick-mckinney-jersey , 2018 Damn. I had a strange day. It was a friend’s birthday. I was out in Austin at one of those arcade places because Austin is a playground for adults who still watch Nickolodeon and try to outcool one another.I’ve been reading Gerald Murane. I did this thing. He wrote a short story about a library of books he had and why he bought them, if he read them, and his entire collection. Most of the books he never read. And the ones he did read he read twenty years, sometimes thirty years before. He had too many books. So he would stand in front of each one, stare at the spine, close his eyes http://www.houstontexansteamonline.com/ka_imi-fairbairn-jersey , and see what images came about. If he didn’t see anything he gave them away. To a landfill. In secret. Because he was embarrassed to be doing what he was doing. He claimed his masterwork would be to stare at the books he kept and write a book connecting all the images together. Which is what I guess literature is. It’s just the combination of connected images and the writer describes each one as beautifully as he can. I did the same thing, but with pinball machines, and out came a lot of bizarre things, and now I feel so strange.Anyways, I don’t got nothing. I gotta go.Sound off in the comments below to discuss whatever, Texans-related or not. The Steelers’ 53-man roster might be set for now Authentic Artie Burns Jersey , but it’s far from a finished product. One obvious omission is Le’Veon Bell, who has yet to sign his franchise tag. Not knowing when Bell is going to show up will definitely affect the Steelers’ preparation for Week 1, but in what’s now his sixth season in the NFL, an unconventional Week 1 is what’s expected from Bell at this point. This is now the fourth straight season where Le’Veon Bell hasn’t been on the initial 53-man roster. Last year, Bell didn’t sign his contract until Monday of Week 1. The Steelers received a roster exemption for Bell in 2017, and they activated him on Saturday before their Sunday game against the Browns. Although he reported on Friday September 1st, Bell didn’t sign the tender until after the initial 53-man roster was released. In that Week-1 game against Cleveland, Bell rushed for 32 yards on 10 carries for an unimpressive 3.2-yard average per rush, along with three receptions for 15-yards. In both 2015 and 2016, Bell began the season with a suspension. The 2015 suspension stemmed from his 2014 arrest for possession of marijuana and DUI. The following year, Le’Veon once again had to serve a suspension http://www.pittsburghsteelersteamstore.com/joe-haden-jersey , this time due to missing a drug test with the league. As a rookie in 2013, Bell was on the active roster but was injured and didn’t play until Week 4 against the Vikings in London. The 2014 season has been the most normal start for Bell, yet it wasn’t without controversy. It was on Wednesday, August 21, 2014, when Bell and LeGarrette Blount, along with a third passenger, were stopped and arrested for possession of marijuana and DUI as they were traveling to catch the team flight for their preseason game against the Eagles. The arrest and pending suspension loomed over the team for some time, making for another dramatic situation during Week 1. Bell did turn in a solid performance of 109 yards on 21 carries and 1 TD in the game, with a 5.2 ]-yard average per rush along with six receptions for 88 yards.Unfortunately, this season Bell didn’t report on Friday after the final preseason game. It’s unclear if he’ll even be active in Week 1 Authentic Chris Boswell Jersey , and odds of that happening are certainly slim at this point. Regardless, it would be unwise to expect a lot of production from him right out of the gate due to a re-run of the ever-present drama that Steelers Nation has come to expect from Bell during Week 1 of the regular season.Steelers Inactives: Joe Haden highlights the inactive list heading into Week 2 game vs. Chiefs The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially confirmed their list of inactive players for Week 2 and it should come as no surprise to learn that injuries have played a significant part in deciding who to exclude for the game against the Kansas City Chiefs. After suffering a hamstring injury in Cleveland and failing to practice all week, it was always expected that Joe Haden would be inactive. The same can be said of David DeCastro who is dealing with a fractured hand that kept him out of training each day and led to him being listed as doubtful for the game on Friday, just like Haden. Coty Sensabaugh gets his chance on the gameday roster in Haden’s absence, while Matt Feiler will dress in place of DeCastroTyson Alualu was another name listed as doubtful in the final injury report of the week and he is also among the inactives on Sunday. L.T. Walton will get the opportunity to suit up with Alualu sidelined. With Vance McDonald finally cleared to play, he should see his first live action since January and his place on the inactive list has been taken by Justin Hunter in Week 2.For the remainder of the names on the list, it is business as usual against Kansas City. Mason Rudolph, Zach Banner and Marcus Allen are once again inactive for the second week in a row and are likely to remain on the sidelines for the foreseeable future. Despite being listed on the injury report as questionable on Friday, Ben Roethlisberger, Artie Burns and Cameron Heyward are active in Week 2 all look set to play against the Chiefs.

Nick Foles did his best Tom Brady impersonation Youth Sebastian Janikowski Jersey , leading a late-game comeback to cap a season that began as a backup and ended as Super Bowl MVP.

Foles’ journey mirrored Brady’s 16 years ago and ended late Sunday night, with green-and-white confetti falling as delirious Philadelphia Eagles fans celebrated their first NFL title since 1960.

No quarterback has gone from backup to title game MVP in one season since Brady replaced Drew Bledsoe in the 2001 season. Foles topped the 40-year-old Brady, football’s greatest winner, in the most prolific offensive game in NFL history, with the Eagles defeating the favored New England Patriots 41-33.

Foles finished it off by engineering the type of game-winning drive that made Brady famous, and he watched his defense stop Brady to seal the victory and the Eagles first Super Bowl – their earlier titles came before the Super Bowl era.

”The stage was never too big for him all year,” said Zach Ertz, who caught the game-winning 11-yard touchdown pass from Foles with 2:21 remaining. ”To get in a shootout with that guy on the other team is probably not ideal for anyone ever. The guy is the best quarterback to ever play the game.”

But on this night Brady played second fiddle to Foles despite throwing for a playoff record 505 yards. Foles was nearly as prolific with 373 yards and three touchdown passes and also caught a TD pass for the Eagles (16-3). Brady dropped his own chance at a reception on a trick play by the Patriots (15-4).

That all added up to Foles becoming the first backup quarterback to win the Super Bowl since Brady beat two-time NFL MVP Kurt Warner to win his first title 16 years ago.

Brady never gave up the job he got after Bledsoe got hurt early that season. He has gone on to win a record five Super Bowl titles. After throwing his third touchdown pass, to Rob Gronkowski, with 9:22 to play to give the Patriots their first lead of the game, he seemed poised for a sixth.

That’s when Foles stepped up with the drive of his life to give Philadelphia a championship in a season many wrote off after Carson Wentz injured his knee in Week 14.

Foles drove the Eagles 75 yards, converting a fourth-and-1 with a 2-yard pass to Ertz near midfield and then capping it with the pass to Ertz that needed to survive a replay review to make sure Ertz held onto the ball long enough for a score.

”It doesn’t get any bigger than this, but I felt good,” Foles said. ”I felt calm. I think the big thing that helped me was knowing that I didn’t have to be Superman. I have amazing teammates.”

One of those teammates delivered the key defensive play on a night when the offenses combined for 1,151 yards – the most in any modern NFL game. With Brady poised to lead one of his memorable comebacks, Brandon Graham knocked the ball out of his hand for a fumble that rookie Derek Barnett recovered with 2:09 to play.

”When the fourth quarter came we had to go out there and make a stop,” Graham said. ”As a defense we hadn’t been doing it all game. The offense carried us all the way through. At the end of the day we kept coming.”

Jake Elliott tacked on a field goal and the game ended when Brady’s desperation heave to the end zone fell to the turf, sending the Eagles out on the field in celebration and Brady to the ground in despair.

”I don’t think anyone wallows on our team,” Brady said. ”We’re a competitive team. Played hard. Didn’t make enough plays or score enough points.”

The questions after the game immediately turned to the future with Foles expected to return to the backup role when Wentz is healthy. In the other locker room, Brady was asked if he would come back for another run at age 41.

”I expect to be back,” he said. ”It’s 15 minutes after the game ended Authentic Baker Mayfield Jersey , so I would like to process this. I don’t see why I wouldn’t be back.”

Brady did just about all he could to win the game, with his most glaring miss coming as a receiver on a trick play in the first half when he dropped a pass from receiver Danny Amendola.

Foles topped him in that role with his touchdown late in the first half that made him the first player to catch and throw a TD pass in the same Super Bowl.

On fourth down from the 1, Foles motioned into the slot, while rookie Corey Clement took a direct snap. Clement pitched to tight end Trey Burton, a former quarterback at Florida. Foles slid into the right side of the end zone, uncovered and caught the touchdown on a play coach Doug Pederson calls ”Philly Special.”

”Yeah, that was something we’ve been working on, and Doug and I were talking, and he was like, `Let’s just run it.’ It was a good time,” Foles said. ”And the end was a little wider than I thought, so I was like, `I really need to sell like I’m not doing anything.’

”And it worked, Trey made an amazing throw. I just looked it in and, yeah, we’ve repped it for a while, so I was excited to get it run in the Super Bowl.”

That gave the Eagles a 22-12 halftime lead but Brady led three straight second-half touchdown drives – two to Gronkowski. Foles kept pace with a 22-yard touchdown pass to Clement and another drive for a field goal that kept the Eagles in it until the dramatic finish.

”It kind of felt like whoever had the ball last could win this game, and we were just fortunate enough to put ourselves in a position to end the game with that drive for the touchdown,” Pederson said. ”Our defense stepped up and did a nice job to finish it for us.”

All that was l
